My journey in the music and events industry has been shaped by resilience, gratitude, and the power of giving back.

While working at MusiCares, I faced one of the most challenging times in my life: a life-threatening brain tumor diagnosis. Suddenly, my role within the organization became deeply personal as I experienced firsthand the generosity and support that MusiCares offers to those in need. They didn’t just help me with financial assistance during an overwhelming period—they reminded me of the strength of community and the profound impact of compassion.

As I navigated recovery, I was struck by how life had come full circle. I had joined MusiCares to help others through music and philanthropy, never imagining I would one day be a recipient of the very assistance I worked to provide. That experience changed me forever, instilling in me a deeper appreciation for the mission of giving and a renewed sense of purpose.

After recovering, I returned to work with a fire to make an even greater impact. I poured my creativity and passion into organizing high-profile events, such as Grammy Week celebrations and tribute concerts, that raised millions of dollars for the people who make the music we love. I understood the importance of every dollar raised because I had lived through the difference it could make.

This dual perspective—of being both a recipient and a contributor—shaped my commitment to creating experiences that heal, inspire, and transform lives. Today, as the founder of Charitone, I carry forward the lessons and purpose MusiCares gave me. By working with artists and brands in the music industry, I aim to amplify their causes through innovative campaigns and unforgettable moments, building bridges between creativity and philanthropy.
